6:00 Tour guide picks you up from your hotel on a 4-hour drive to Mai Chau where we have an early lunch. After lunch we keep on to Moc Chau stopping en route at nice hidden waterfalls. We arrive in Ban Doi, a small black Thai village where is implemented a community-based tourism project. Check-in, refresh yourself and follow the guide for a gentle walk throughout the village. From white cauliflowers on hills, the clay roof tile old moss steeped in flowers of the spring, enjoy beautiful picturesque of the Mong woman on picking tea leaves, eating grilled corn in the peaceful quiet atmosphere of the early mist.
Stop at the waterfalls around 1-hour then walk from Ban On to Nam Tom before arriving at the homestay.
After breakfast, we leave Ban Doi to Phieng Canh, a H’mong hamlet nested in a deep valley. From the main road, it is a 1-hour walk along corn and rice fields to access the village. The location is scenic, and the dwellers hospitable. Get lost in time in this charming area until the guide brings you back on earth…on the sealed road actually.
We then drive back to Hanoi with a stop for lunch in an excellent restaurant. Arrival at about 6pm. End of the tour!
