8:30 Our guide will pick you up at your hotel/stay in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then transfer to the bike store. After a short briefing, start cycling along the ceramic mosaic mural along the walls of the Red River dike system in the city of Hanoi. The dyke along the Red river is 6km inside Hanoi centre and the Ceramic mosaic mural is nearly 4km long.
Op1. Continue to the Ho Tay Flower Valley, this ‘heaven of flower’ offers a breathtaking view over of large flower fields. There are various kinds of seasonal flowers planted here such as daisy, chrysanthemum, sunflower, violet, and Catharanthus roseus.
Op2. Near Tet Holiday, you can bike towards Nhat Tan village, which is famous for farming bonsai Peach and Kumquat trees, two kinds of bonsai are considered indispensable in every Vietnamese house during Traditional Tet.
Back to the Old Quarter and go to the Long Bien Bridge crossing the Red River, bike along the bridge to observe its unique appearance resembles the Eiffel Tower, which is not a coincidence as the two structures were both designed by Gustav Eiffel. Enjoy the beautiful scenery during cycling, especially the sunset if you go in the afternoon.
Taking some nice photos in some pagodas or temples that you pass by before cycling back to the bike store.
