LAOS VISA EXEMPTION
Regular passport holders from 15 countries below do not need a tourist visa for Laos.
Exemption list:
• Visitors from the following countries are eligible for a 14-day stay without a visa: Myanmar
• Visitors from the following countries are eligible for a 15-day stay without a visa: Japan, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
• Visitors from the following countries are eligible for a 30-day stay without a visa: Brunei Darussalam Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Special note:
• It is important to note that even if your country is listed under the Laos visa exemption list, you may still be required to obtain a visa if you are planning to stay in Laos for longer than the specified duration or engage in certain activities such as business or employment.
• The visa exemption policy is subject to change, so it is always a good idea to check with the nearest Laotian embassy or con- sulate to ensure that you have the most up-to-date information before visitors travel to Laos.
LAOS E-VISA
As of 2023, Laos has opened a new E-visa service granted by the Lao Government Authorities to enable 144 countries to apply for a visa online.

Laos e-visa requirement:
• Passport with a validity of no less than six months and at least 2 blank passport pages.
. One recent color 4x6 cm photo in digital format.
• E-visa fee of USD (the fee depends on the traveler’s nationality and is non-refundable).
Processing time:
The processing time for the visa is usually 03 working days after submitting the application and paying the visa fee, provided that all information supplied by applicants meets the criteria and is accepted by the Lao Government Authorities, otherwise the processing time could be longer.

LAOS VISA ON ARRIVAL
Another convenient way travelers can consider is a visa on arrival (VOA). The VOA is available at international airports and some border checkpoints. Aurora Travel & DMC will assist with the process of obtaining the letter for you. Please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Arrive at one of the designated international airports or border crossings that offer visa-on-arrival services.
Step 2: Complete an application form and provide two passport-sized photos.
Step 3: Pay the visa fee in cash, which varies depending on your nationality and the type of visa you are applying for.
Step 4: Wait for your visa to be processed. This usually takes around 15-30 minutes but can take longer during peak travel times.
Important note
• Make sure that the passport has at least 6 months of validity from the entry date ahead
• The Visa on Arrival is worked if travelers enter Laos via airports such as Wattay International Airport, Luang Prabang International Airport, Pakse International Airport, Champasak provinceSavannakhet International Airport.
• Travelers must provide two (02) photos of passport-type.
• A visa application form is filled up and signed by the applicant. This file is
available at the Visa booth.
• You need to prepare some US cash for the visa fee since no credit cards are accepted.
LAOS VISA FOR RESTRICTED NATIONALITIES
There are countries those are restricted their citizens to apply for visas to Laos. And we are strictly requested to process according to Laos's regulations.
