The Bai Dinh Pagoda has been a popular spiritual destination in Ninh Binh and across the country. Visitors who have ever been to Ninh Binh must have visited the Bai Dinh Pagoda once. However, you might have visited the pagoda during the day without the gleaming lights of the night. The Hoang Son Travel Center is happy to present to you the schedule of the tour called Bai Dinh by night
HIGHLIGHTS
19h00: The car and the tour guide pick you up from hotel to start to go to the Bai Dinh Pagoda.
19h45: You get to the Bai Dinh Pagoda. You will feel different space of gleaming lights and candles. You will visit the pagoda on an electric car. You will make an incense offering in the Bodhisattva Temple. The temple consists of 7 different rooms, the central room is the place where the 1000 arm – 1000 eye Bodhisattva statute sits in. The gilded statute weights 80 tons. After the ritual in the temple, you will visit the Bell Tower to admire the 36 ton bronze bell.
20h15: You visit the Sakayami Buddha Temple which consists of 5 rooms, in the central rooms sits the gilded Sakayami Buddha statue which is 10m high and weights 100 tons
20h30: You visit the Stupa Tower – the Highest Tower in Vietnam. The top of the tower gives you the overview of the Bai Dinh Pagoda at night with gleaming lights, peaceful sacred space that will allow you to relax.
21h00: You visit the Three-Period Temple sitting on the hill at the altitude of 76m. In the temple sit three statues which are 7,2m high and weights 50 tons. The Temple is located at a higher position compared to the other two temples. All the lights of the construction works in the pagoda are turned on during the night, which is great photography material offered by the Bai Dinh Pagoda. Consequently, you are free to stroll around and enjoy some coffee at the Wind Chimes cafeteria on the top of Dinh mountain.
21h30: Get on the car to go back to your hotel. The tour ends.
