9:00 am: Driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Old QuaDrive to Le Mat village. The village is famous for its tradition of catching and farming snakes for over 900 years. On arrival visit the communal house where villagers worship their ancestors, learn about the history and several legends and funny stories of snakes preserved in cultural activities of Le Mat people community. Then start your adventure by entering the snake farm to have a better look at how the snakes are raised, fed and trained by locals. Then, you may have food with a menu based on snakes made at the request of the guests! ( lunch by your own account). And you are even offered a shot of local wine with a beating snake heart inside. It must be your unique experience.
12:00: Continue to Bat Trang Village, stop at the ceramic and glaze workshop. Along the way, you will encounter many shops selling ceramics, admiring the walls covered with charcoal. And when you come to the pottery workshop, you will see the stages of pottery making and learn about glaze, ceramics and then make your own ceramic products that you like under the guidance of the artisans here. .
Tour guide takes you to visit and shop at Bat Trang Market with hundreds of stalls selling close together. The ceramic products on display are extremely diverse in color and shape, but equally sophisticated, at affordable prices that make everyone want to stop by to buy such as cups, dishes, and ceramic jewelry. .. to make souvenirs for relatives and friends.
After shopping at the market, you visit Bat Trang Communal House - a spiritual and cultural architectural work with a glorious history. With an excelent architecture, facing the West, to the Red River, the communal house was built in 1720, worshiping God of the village and to organize events and festivals of the village.
